Department of BIKPP has strong scientific relations with scientific institutions and organizations of other countries (Russia, Belarus, Germany, Spain, Austria, etc.), Scientists of the Department Professor Akhmetalimov N. N., Ph. D. Vaganova R. U., PhD Tattibaeva D. B., PhD Asimov's S. T. closely cooperate with foreign scientists: University of Santiago de Compostello-Alberto Sepeda Saez, Odessa national Academy of food technologies Professor Mardar M. R., Voronezh state technical University Professor Antipova L. V., Kuban agrarian University Donchenko L. V., Alberto Cepeda Saez, Head of the Laboratory "Laboratory for Safety, Hygiene and Food Inspection" of the University of Santiago de Compostello (Spain) and Balev Decislav (University of Food Technology, Bulgaria) they are co-heads of doctoral students.

The department's tradition is to organize guest lectures by leading specialists in the field of technical regulation on the topic "Features and order of product circulation subject to mandatory assessment (confirmation) of compliance in the Customs Union and food safety".

In the 2025–2026 academic year, within the framework of internal academic mobility, 13 bachelor students were sent to I. Razzakov Kyrgyz State Technical University, while 19 students from KSTU are studying at our university. In addition, 4 students are studying at S. Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical University.

 

Professional development. Professional development.  In the 2024–2025 academic year, a total of 13 teachers completed professional development courses. Among them: at RSE “KazStandard” on the topic “Standards in Support of the Sustainable Development Goals”; at LLP “Center for Technical Regulation and Metrology” on the topics “Metrological Expertise of Technical and Design Documentation”, “Standardization of Food Products. Quality Standards, Food Safety and Packaging”, “Conformity Assessment of Measurements”, “Conformity Assessment to Accreditation Criteria Based on International Standards and Certification Procedures”; and at LLP Scientific and Production Enterprise “Antigen” on the topic “Traceability System in Food Production Technology Using Scientific Principles and Legal Regulation”, among others.
